At the end of this guide, your DirecTV Stream fast forward shall be working just fine.

Solution #1: Check Your Internet Connection 

As you already know, DirecTV Stream relies heavily on your internet connection.

Perhaps you think that you have superb Wi-Fi that never fails. Well, no connection is infallible!

A good way to determine if your Wi-Fi is at fault is by paying attention to how the whole system works.

For example, is anything taking too long to load on DirecTV? If the answer is positive, resetting your Wi-Fi is the logical next step.

Even if the answer is negative, resetting your Wi-Fi is still advised. After all, it is a simple step that can do wonders. 

1. Locate your router’s power button

5. Select the Find button on your Fire TV home screen
6. Select Search
7. Type “DirecTV Stream“

1. Click the Gear icon on the home menu
2. Scroll down and choose My Fire TV
