1. Press the TV Power Button!

The Toshiba Fire TV comes with an installed panel power button, that allows the user to freely control the power state of the TV, without a remote.

The power button of the Toshiba Fire TV is located on the bottom panel of the device, directly beneath the left part of the TV display screen.

• Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds to turn on the TV!

In case the TV does not start upon pressing the physical power button, hold the button for 30 seconds straight, to perform a hard reset.

Essentially, if your TV receivers power, by holding the button you will power cycle the electricity, which sometimes solves power-related TV issues.

2. Double-Check the Input Source

It is possible that the Toshiba Fire TV is actually running, but showing a black screen due to a selected empty input source.

• To perform a factory reset, find a thin and sharp object such as a needle to reach within the pinhole and press the reset button.
