That means that you need to have the eufySecurity application on your device, the Alexa app, and, lastly, your Eufy device ready. To make sure everything is fine and will work okay, follow these steps:
The first thing you have to do is get the eufySecurity application on your phone.
Of course, like every other app, that happens when you download it from Google Play or the App Store.
After you have downloaded it, open the app and proceed with creating your Eufy account. By doing so, you will be able to open the security application and find “Add Device.”
From there, find the Eufy Doorbell and do this:
- Find the QR code on the back of the device and scan it.
- Choose your location.
- Follow the popping instructions and set up the doorbell.
- Test the voltage – press “Start Now.”
- Hold the Eufy doorbell button to complete the test – you will hear a sound.
Once you hear a ringtone, you must tap on the “I have heard the Ringtone” button to finalize the test.
The next thing you have to do is give access to the device location and turn your phone to Bluetooth.
Doing so will allow the eufySecurity app to connect your doorbell to your mobile device. After it, you will get a confirmation message that everything is alright and all left to do is connect to your Wi-Fi network.
When it comes to Alexa, setting up things is straightforward. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection, the Alexa application, and your Echo to be ready.

See, it is easy to do it! After you complete the steps, simply call out Alexa to see if it worked.

In the first place, to be able to connect Eufy and Alexa. You will need to set up the eufySecurity app, which we installed earlier – as a skill in the Alexa one (2nd step).
To do it, follow these steps:
- First, have to open the main app – in our case, it will be Alexa.
- Then slide the side menu and
- Look for “Browse Skills.”
- From there, navigate to “Skills & Games” and find eufySecurity.
All that is left is to:
- Enable the eufySecurity as a skill.
- Link the account by entering your credentials.
- After linking, you will be able to discover the installed devices.
- Find and choose them – Eufy doorbell.
After completing this, you are almost done. Now you only have to set up your Alexa settings like what announcement to get from the doorbell or similar.
Input the commands as you wish, and you are done. The Eufy doorbell is not finally connected and can be used through your Alexa.
Tip: If it doesn't work, simply repeat the steps. If there is a problem again, contact the support team.
As you may know, the Eufy doorbell has 2-way talk features. It allows you to talk to anyone who is in front of your door.
You can easily do it when you get a notification and turn on the live video to check who it is.
In order to be able to use the feature, you have first to enable the audio recording of your doorbell. To do it, you have to go to the settings simply.
From there, do these:
- Find the doorbell settings.
- Locate and open the audio settings.
- Find the recording option and turn it on.
Now your Eufy doorbell can receive and transmit sounds. If you encounter any problems, check the doorbell audio volume.
Follow the same path from above until you see “Doorbell Audio Volume”; you can adjust it.
Note: If you can speak, but the people in front of your door can't enable the doorbell microphone from the settings permissions.
Using Alexa to view the Eufy doorbell camera is easy and comfortable. It happens simply by controlling the operations with voice controls and input names for the connection through the app’s device.
At this point, you probably have all the applications set up and the devices connected and installed. The only thing to access your doorbell through Alexa voice commands is to speak it up.
For example, you can say something like “Alexa show me/the, etc.” and pronounce the Eufy doorbell name. That way, you will be able to view the camera on the application.
To stop it, you have to say “Alexa, stop,” and it will turn off the doorbell camera live stream.
Note: That goes for any other Eufy smart device which you install. You can easily use Alexa voice control to command the device functions as long as it is connected.
