How To Fix Cync Bulb Not Connecting To WiFi?
You should first perform a restart of your bulb, using the light switch. That is done by turning the power to your bulb off and then turning it on.

Here’s how to set your E bulb in the correct way:
- Open your Cync app on your phone.
- Tap the “+” icon at the top and select your bulb (C-Sleep or C-Life lights).
- Tap on “Get Started” and turn on your light.
- Select the bulb from the next screen that appears as the connection.
- Select your own WiFi network from the next screen.
- Input your WiFi password (ensure it’s correct).
- Choose the room where your bulb is.
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
Note: Double-check if you’re selecting the correct WiFi network and input the appropriate password for that network.
The power cycle process will help with electricity issues that could be preventing your Cync bulb from connecting to WiFi.
This advanced type of restart will discharge your device, providing a cold boot and hopefully solving the problem with ease.
Here’s how to power cycle your Cync bulb:
- Turn off the light switch.
- Undo your bulb from the light slot.

Note: The suggested distance for your bulb from the network device could be somewhere from 10-15 meters for best functionality.

Pro Tip: The fastest way to check your network for issues would be by connecting to it with another device (your smartphone) and attempting to stream any online media such as (Youtube or Netflix).

1. Hard Reset Network Device

Disengage the device’s power adapter for 5 minutes and then reattach it.

- Go over to your phone’s storage unit.
- Gain access to the app section.
- Locate the Cync app and enter the app settings.
- Choose “Uninstall” and once it is done, download it back from the Google Play/App Store.
Note: When accessing the Cync app once reinstalled, you will have to sign in back to your account.
Solution #6 Reset Your Cync Bulb

This will completely erase all contents of your bulb and you will be able to re-attach it to the application and WiFi.

- Shut off your light for 5 seconds.
- Turn on your light for 8 seconds.
- Again, turn the light off but for only 2 seconds.
- Repeat this entire process for 5 times.
Note: Watch out for the three flashes from your bulb once the process is complete. These flashes will indicate a successful reset.
