Solution #4 Set Fan Frequencies Differently 

If your fan is not responding to your remote control, chances are that your fan is set to the wrong frequency.

Your Hunter fan has a DIP unit that manually sets different frequencies for your device.

When you switch these settings up, there is a better chance that you can bypass issues with the old frequency settings for your remote.

2. Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the protective fan panel for its electronics
3. Find and take hold of the DIP switch module on the receiver 
4. Use a metal pen or a thin screwdriver to set the DIP to new frequencies 
5. Record your new DIP switch settings on a piece of paper
6. Reattach the fan protective cover and secure it back via the screws

Solution #5 Pair Your Remote Control To The Fan Again

Once you have a new remote control for your Hunter fan, it needs to be paired to the fan before use.

If the remote was incorrectly set up or disconnected from your Hunter fan, it must be paired again.

Please note that the steps below are general guidelines, as they may vary depending on your remote control model and Hunter fan setup.

Here are the general steps to pair your Hunter fan with a remote: 

1. Remove your remote control’s battery cover and locate the pair button 
2. Turn off your fan using the power switch on your wall 
3. Let the fan stay powered down for at least 10 seconds
