How Do I Sign Out Of Netflix On LG Smart TV?
Once signed in to Netflix on your smart LG TV on any other device that supports the platform, you will remain logged in until second notice.
This can be quite frustrating, especially if multiple friends or family members are using Netflix but with a different account.
However, Netflix provides separate profiles, but they do NOT require a password upon entering.
This way everyone can access your viewing history and recommendations unless you’re completely logged out.
To log out of your Netflix account on LG TV, follow the steps below:
Step #1 Turn On The Smart LG TV
The first step is to simply turn on your TV. To log out of Netflix of course, your TV must reach inside the TV’s applications and locate the Netflix smart app.
Note: If the Netflix smart application is deleted, your account will NOT be there if installed again!
Navigate to the Home tab of your LG TV and find where the Netflix smart application is located.
Step #2 Open Netflix
The next thing you have to do is open Netflix. If the application is already installed on the LG TV’ software, which we assume is already done, simply press the Netflix icon to open the platform.
If the TV is connected to a working WiFi, opening Netflix should not take longer than 10 seconds.
If you have trouble opening the app, check your internet connection before everything else.
Step #3 Navigate To Home Page/Mage
After opening Netflix, you will be sent to the home page, where your watch list & movie/TV show preferences are displayed.
In order to sign out, you must find your way to the menu and then later access the options.
To open the menu, you have to click on “Get Help” at the left of the Home tab. By clicking on this button, you will be sent to the settings page where you will be able to sign out.
If you don’t see the “Get Help” button by any chance, then perhaps look for the settings’ cogwheel directly to enter the options.
Step #4 Log Out Of Netflix
Once you’re on the settings page, you will be able to sign out of your Netflix profile by going to the “Sign Out” button.
You will see a list of settings and at the bottom of this list you will have “Sign Out”, “Change Password”, “Change Username” and “Delete This Netflix Account”.
You will want to select “Sign Out” and a pop-up window will appear that will require your confirmation.
Press the right arrow until “Confirm” is highlighted and hit the OK button to sign out of Netflix.
Once this is done, you will be sent to the Login page, where you will be able to hop back into your account by writing your credentials and selecting “Login”
