Solution #3 Optimize Home Network/WiFi

The WAP (Wireless Access point is responsible for acquiring your IP address from the router DHCP pool. When the pool is recycled, it releases the reallocated IP address.
All devices can get their updated IP address, but the Wyze Doorbell can’t because it keeps saving the original IP address. That’s why the doorbell won’t connect to WiFi.
Solution: Connect your Wyze Doorbell to a separate Wireless Access Point (WAP) with a different DHCP range. You can share a hotspot from your mobile device to achieve this!

Solution #5 Prioritize The Wyze Doorbell
Sometimes Wyze Doorbell won’t connect to the network because of weak network bandwidth or because many devices are already connected.
We can, however, prioritize the doorbell’s connection through the Google Home App, to always be connected and never left out.
Here is how to prioritize the Wyze Doorbell on your WiFi Network:
- Open Google Home mobile app.
- Click on WiFi.
- Click on Devices > Set Priority Devices.
- Select the Wyze Doorbell.
- Choose the Time Span for priority.
- Click on Save.
