Let’s begin with some important preparation before we can link both accounts:
How to Set Up Feit Smart Bulbs With Alexa?
Before we start the setup of your Alexa smart speaker to the Feit Electric bulbs, there are some important requirements that have to be met in order to establish the connection.
Make sure that you have access to an Amazon Account!
This is crucial to setting up Alexa with your smart Feit Electric bulbs since a long one will be required.
In addition, you’ll need a Feit Account, used for the electric bulb setup!
How to Register On Amazon?
- Go to Amazon.com on your smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer.
- Press the “Sign Up Now” button.
- Fill up the required fields with your personal information.
- Finalize the registration and Verify your account.
Don’t forget that you’ll also need a Feit Account and the application installed to be able to connect any Echo device to the bulbs.
If not, make sure to register a new account and only then proceed with the steps below.

How to Connect Alexa to Feit Smart Bulb?
Once getting your Amazon account set up, it’s time to begin the pairing.
For this purpose, both your Alexa device and Feit Smart Bulb must be up and running and you must already have the Feit Electric application installed on your source device.
Here’s how to connect your Alexa to a Feit Electric bulb:
Step #1 Acquire the Amazon Alexa App
Your first and most essential step is to get the Amazon Alexa app.
If you’ve just registered with Alexa now, we can assume that you still don’t have the Amazon Alexa app, but it is required for the setup.
Your Feit Electric app will send you to the Alexa app to finalize the setup and link accounts.
Here’s how to get the Amazon Alexa app on your device:
- On your mobile smartphone, open the App Store/Google Play.
- Tap the search field and write “Amazon Alexa”.
- Download the first application.
- Launch the Amazon Alexa app.
If you’re getting the Amazon Alexa application just now, make sure that you hook up the speaker to the app.
Go to “Add Device” in the Amazon Alexa app and follow the instructions to connect your Echo speaker.
Note: Once you’re done downloading the Amazon Alexa app, make sure to Sign In.
Step #2 Launch/Get the Feit Electric App
Your next step after acquiring the Amazon Alexa application is to launch or get the Feit Electric app.
Assuming that you already have the application, all you have to do is launch it and go to the home screen.
From there, you will be able to navigate to the correct tab, from which you could start adding your Amazon Alexa speaker.
If you still don’t have the Feit Electric app, acquire it from the App Store or Google Play respectively for iOS and Android devices.
Alert: For the setup to work the Feit Electric bulb must already be connected to the app.
Step #3 Go to “Link Alexa” In the Feit Electric App
Once the Feit Electric app has been started, now you will have to go to the link services, within the application.
There, you will be able to choose between the Google service and the Amazon Alexa service.
In your situation, you will have to select “Amazon Alexa” as your pairing choice!
Follow these instructions to select the correct pairing service in the Amazon Alexa app:
- From the home screen of the Feit Electric app, tap on “Profile”.
- Select “Use Alexa and Google Assistant” in the following tab.
- Press on the “Amazon Alexa” button at the top of the screen.
- Finally, choose “Link with Amazon Alexa” at the bottom of your screen.
- This will start the pairing.
The pairing process will now start. Next, we’ll explain how to proceed!
Note: Underneath the blue pairing button, you could also select “View More Ways To Link”.
Step #4 Link Your Feit Account to Alexa
Once you’ve selected the “Link with Amazon Alexa” button, you will be instantly redirected to the Amazon Alexa application.
The setup with the Feit Electric bulb will undergo there and you will have to insert the credentials of your Feit Account.
Here’s how to link your Feit account to Alexa in easy steps:
- Once in the Amazon Alexa app, press the blue “LINK” button at the bottom right.
- If required, insert your Feit Account Login Credentials.
- After writing them down, press “NEXT” and the process should be complete.
Keep in mind that if you’re already logged in to your Feit Electric and Amazon accounts, you don’t have to type any credentials after being redirected to the Alexa app.
Notice: After clicking the “LINK” button, the accounts will pair automatically.
Step #5 Finalize the Setup
Once you’ve linked your Feit account to Amazon Alexa, the process is almost over.
You will be seeing one last screen, which will tell you that the linking was successful and now your Feit Electric account is an enabled service in the Alexa app.
In addition, you will see a couple of voice commands you could use with the bulb, through your Alexa speaker.
To close the confirmation screen and finalize the setup, press the Back Button in the middle of your phone’s screen.
Alert: If your phone is still loading after pressing the “PAIR” button, be patient!
Feit Is Not Pairing With Amazon Alexa…
In case you couldn’t get Feit Electric paired to Amazon Alexa, there are alternative ways to get the service linked.
To explore more possible ways for the pairing, all you have to do is press “View more ways to link” back in the Amazon Alexa app.
Re-complete all of the steps we’ve listed above again, up to step #4, but instead of pressing “LINK”, select the button for more pairing ways.

What Are the Feit Electric Alexa Commands?
If you’ve just connected your Feit bulb to Amazon Alexa, but don’t know what voice commands to use, there is a variety.
Based on the room and environmental settings you’ve made in the Feit app, you could voice control all of your lights remotely.
Voice commands you could use for your Feit bulbs through Amazon Alexa are:
- Alexa, turn on the light in my living room/kitchen/bedroom
- Alexa, dim the light in my living room/kitchen/bedroom
- Alexa, brighten the light in my living room/kitchen/bedroom
- Alexa, set the living room/kitchen/bedroom light to 10-100%
- Alexa, set the light in “my room” to green (you could use all available colors)
- Alexa, set the light in my living room/kitchen/bedroom to daylight
As long as Alexa hears your voice clearly, the voice command should be executed and the change on your Feit lights will take effect immediately.
