- Ensure your Sync Module is turned on and connected to a power source.
- Check the LED status on your Sync Module.
- The Sync Module is connected to a power source if you see solid blue.
- If it’s blinking red, ensure it’s plugged in properly.
- Tap on Add Device.
- Select Sync Module.
Your Blink app will scan for the Sync Module. Once found, select it and follow the instructions below to connect it to your WiFi network.
- Your Sync Module will create a temporary WiFi network.

To change your router’s channel, follow these steps:
- Log in to your router’s web interface.
- Find the WiFi settings section.
- Locate the Channel setting.
- Select a different channel.
- Save the changes.
- Reconnect your Blink camera to the WiFi network.
Note: The channels typically available for WiFi networks are 1, 6, and 11. They are the least crowded and the best choices for most people.
#6: Change Your Router’s Band to 2.4GHz Only
