Manually Update Bose via USB Cable:
- From your computer, download the Bose Product_Update.
- You’ll automatically download the zip file to your computer.
- Tip: Look for the file in your computer Downloads folder.
- Use an A-to-Micro USB cable and the soundbar and computer.
- Use the Service port on the back of the Bose soundbar!
- Unplug the Bose soundbar for 30 seconds
- With the soundbar remote, press and hold the Play / Pause and the Volume Up!
- After 5 seconds the Bose soundbar will go into Service Mode.
- Then insert the URL from the image in your browser!
- Tap on Choose File and then simply select the downloaded zip file from your computer.
- Tap on Upload and wait until the update is installed completely on your soundbar.
Manually Update Bose via Direct IP:
- From your PC, go to the Bose Product_Update.
- Unplug your Bose soundbar for 30 seconds!
- Open the Bose Music App and go the Settings.
- Go down in the menu to find Technical Info.
- Note the IP Address of your Bose Soundbar!
- In the online browser type the “IP Adress” + “:1700/update.html”.
- From there choose the downloaded .zip file.
- Wait until your Bose soundbar is updated.
