  1. From your computer, download the Bose Product_Update.
  2. You’ll automatically download the zip file to your computer. 
  3. Tip: Look for the file in your computer Downloads folder. 
  4. Use an A-to-Micro USB cable and the soundbar and computer.
  5. Use the Service port on the back of the Bose soundbar! 
  6. Unplug the Bose soundbar for 30 seconds
  7. With the soundbar remote, press and hold the Play / Pause and the Volume Up!
  8. After 5 seconds the Bose soundbar will go into Service Mode
  9. Then insert the URL from the image in your browser!
  1. Tap on Choose File and then simply select the downloaded zip file from your computer. 
  2. Tap on Upload and wait until the update is installed completely on your soundbar.

  3. Open the Bose Music App and go the Settings.
  4. Go down in the menu to find Technical Info.
  5. Note the IP Address of your Bose Soundbar!
  6. In the online browser type the “IP Adress + “:1700/update.html”.
  7. From there choose the downloaded .zip file.
  8. Wait until your Bose soundbar is updated.
