Another thing important to notice is whether the Ring Chime goes offline every single night for a specified time.
There could be a local power problem that is specific to your area of residence or an ISP-related issue during the night.

Some users were worried that the Chime going offline could mean that someone is attempting to hijack their system.
If your Ring Chime went offline multiple nights in a row at the same time, it is very unlikely to be someone messing with your system.

How to Fix When Ring Chime Constantly Goes Offline?
1. Re-Sync the Ring Chime with Wi-Fi

If your Chime is offline, it means that the device is no longer connected to Wi-Fi, thus, it cannot interact with any of the devices in your local network.
How to Reconnect Ring Chime to a Wi-Fi Network?
- Open the Ring app on your mobile device.
- Press the Ring menu button at the top (≡).
- Select the Ring Chime device from the list.
- Then tap on “Device Health” from the menu.
- Tap “Reconnect to Wi-Fi” or “Change Wi-Fi”.
✅ If you select “Reconnect to Wi-Fi”, the Chime will pair with the last Wi-Fi network.
✅ If you select “Change Wi-Fi”, you will be able to choose from a list of nearby WiFi.
Switch the Ring Chime to a Different Frequency!
Another excellent workaround to test the Wi-Fi connection of the Ring Chime Pro is to switch it through the available network frequencies.
If you own a dual-band router that emits 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, connect the Chime on both frequencies to test the integrity of the connection.
Note: Only Ring Chime Pro 2nd generation is compatible with dual-band frequencies!
2. Restart the Doorbell Power Supply
Ring Chimes need to be plugged into a wall outlet in order to operate, thus, the device does not use batteries.
So, a potential power fluctuation could cause the Ring Chime to go offline multiple times, even at night. Unplugging the Chime from power will power cycle the device effectively.

- Unplug the Chime device from the electrical outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds while the device is unplugged.
- Then, reconnect the Ring Chime to the power source.
- Wait until the Ring Chime device loads and connects.
